one (1) 1st place winner will receive Rs. 10,000.
We all know that Indian classical music has its origin deep rooted in spiritual and religious singing from ancient India. All the greatest singers, be it Lataji, Ashaji, Kishoreji,Anup Jalotaji or even Rafiji have at some point in their career sung a devotional song. We want you to devote your singing to the almighty and sing a Bhajan, Qawwali or any religious song to dedicate your talent to the Omnipotent.
No matter what religion you follow there is one common aspect and that is the devotional singing and we would like to dedicate this contest to bring forth your devotion.
This contest is open to males, females, and groups of all ages from anywhere in the world. Winners will be selected by the Lafango community.
Guidelines
All entries must be received by Monday, January 24th, 2011 (2:00pm EST).
All contestants are limited to no more than 1 video or audio file.
Vocal-only entries (without backing music) are permitted.
Lip syncing, overdubs, and music videos are not permitted.
All contestants must agree to the complete contest rules. |
